Bewitching Rose

The Harvest moon ascends high above the earth to cast its golden glow against the shroud of night. All Hallow's Eve has come at last to the local village, and the festivities are already in full swing. Children laugh and don their costumes as the elders dance and commune, unaware of the mystery that lurks within the interior of a small cottage further off from the town's boundaries. Indeed, even now the windows glow absinthe with the promise of darker magics and forces unleashed. None will dare to venture here this night, and for good reason. The whispering of rumors from the bolder youth of the town lead most to believe a witch resides there. Oh if only they knew. 
Yes, a witch is present there this night. After all, Rose enjoys the festivities as well. And what Halloween is complete without a small batch of potions and spells?
